Even though it is mainly for the 6-7 years old, I read it because I remembered reding Geronimo's adventures when I was younger and when I saw this beautiful thick book I couldn't resist to the nostalgia and I'm not disappointed!
Sure the plot is really really thin but it is the advancement of the adventure, the beautiful illustrations and the desire to see the other Kingdom that keeps you reading.
But I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to see that the book isn't stupid. It really tries to teach good lessons and more important makes references to a lot of myths from different part of the world and I thought that was awesome!
And I particularly love when at the end (after the little dictionary that basically makes a list of characters and creatures from said myths) the book encourages the kids to write themselves a fantastic story using those creatures!
Not only it a good book that surely will get your kid to read more but it also maybe make him (or her) want to be creative an that is really awesome!
