I'm a huge sticker for an enemies-to-lovers, and this one did not disappoint. It was definitely more of a playful enemies, since they hadn't really known each other long enough to build up an intense hatred, but it worked for this story and these characters. I loved them both so much, and I was glad that I ended up really loving Antoine, because I kinda hated him when I read Temptation. The way he treated Marcel and the way he came off as such an asshole, I didn't think I would be able to like him as much as I did. I think the fact that he was constantly getting saved by Fritz from all of these bizarre and terrible happenstances tipped me more into his camp. You couldn't help but feel for the guy while watching him get the crap kicked out of him physically and emotionally. I felt like this book told a really good story, the characters had great chemistry, and as usual, the side characters were incredible and just added so much life.
