Strands in the Web by K.T. Host

4/5 ⭐️ 2/5 🌶️

I received this as an arc from K.T. Host. Thank you so much for sending me this. This review is my own opinion.

This was a book that kept me on my toes and had my heart aching as I read it. Reading what  Valarie went through broke me. I’ve never experience anything like she did but wow it took me on an emotional roller coaster. As well as reading the conflict Conall had regarding his mission. (No spoilers from me 👀)

I found the world building and the plot to be interesting enough to keep me reading and wanting more. I love the edition of a duel POV. I love being able to see things from other characters perspectives.

A fair warning this book does portray domestic abuse and trauma and may not be a suitable read for everyone. But if you are comfortable reading that then by all means give it a shot.

Overall this was a good debut novel! I enjoyed it and if this is something that interests you then give it a go!
