When I discovered there was a story written in the 80s about a witching school AND it was all girls? Yes, please. The characters are fabulous. No nuance, little surprise, but good heavens it’s a fun little chapter book! And such fun it is! I’m smitten with Mildred and Tabby. I would appreciate the adults being more insightful and better advocates for the girls in their care. However, I can enjoy my way around that for the sake of the story.
