The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle
4.0

One of the best few books i have read since i started.
I thought i was gonna get bored eventually in the transition of the beginning to the mystery being solved, but somehow Arthur Connan Doyle accomplished the opposite, not getting bored in a single chapter.
Every chapter gives a bit of mystery, action, etc. that kept me interested at every moment. For being my first approachment at Sherlock Holmes stories, it was a W. From starting line of the story to the last one, everything was well set, solved and delivered to me in the most interesting way. I won't lie, i tried to solve the mystery as i was reading, tho i wasn't able until Sherlock Holmes came up with his critical thinking one one f the last chapters. Everything, from the characters to the places/landscape was well described.

The only downside, which is my own fault, is the use of british early 1900's slang/vocabulary, which i wasn't aware of before. This made me struggle chapter after chapter, taking me more time to search for words meaning in the internet and re-reading almost every paragraph to fully understand it. As i said, that's on me, so i didn't consider this on my rating.

Rating is 4 out of 5 stars, but it's one of my favourites for sure.
