The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me
by Roald Dahl
A happy, carefree, if rather shallow little children's book about English boy Billy who befriends a giraffe, a pelican and a monkey (strangely enough not in the title), who just opened shop as window cleaners. A fun read, if hardly among Dahl's best. In the end the story mentions Willy Wonka's factory from '[b:Charlie and the Chocolate Factory|6310|Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie Bucket, #1)|Roald Dahl|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1309211401s/6310.jpg|2765786]'.
