The Near Witch by V.E. Schwab

3.0

I really had high hopes for this book but it turned out to be only okay. The premise and plot were interesting enough. And I loved the eerieness of the moor as a setting. But the pacing of the story kind of threw me a little. Time seemed to go way too fast, considering it played such an important role in the story. One second Lexi would be waking up and then a few pages later the sun was already going down. And I didn't really care too much for the romance either. The characters got together seemingly out of nowhere. There really was no discernible chemistry between them.

You guys can probably skip this one.
