The Brutal Time by Christina Bauer

4.0

This was another enjoyable read in a world we know and love... oh wait... cancel that, we're going back in time to King Arthur, Camelot and yes, Avalon!
Think you know the stories? Well, buckle up and find out what a douchebag King Arthur really was, and who Camelot was keeping prisoner.

Myla needs to work together for this mission to succeed. Unfortunately, she doesn't play well with others unless they're her family or close friends. UGH.
However, everyone she knows and loves, and well.. the whole world is depending on her for this.

Pacing and flow were good, there wasn't a time I felt bored or overwhelmed, a good balance between action and conversation.

The book itself was well written, with some errors here and there (I should think though, that this is resolved with the definite edition).

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and all in all, I enjoyed it, it was a fun and light book in between the battles with Armageddon.
