I'm glad I read this because it did give me some background on Sibby. I do think she's probably one of the more interesting characters I've met in the Haunting Adeline Universe.
I read this right before Chapter 28 of Haunting Adeline (so right before I was really introduced to Sibby). This story clarified some things about the demons she sees and her henchmen.
I don't have too many triggers when it comes to reading, but I think it's important to point out that this is very graphic. It's a lot of gore and sexual content, often mixed together, and it certainly won't be for everyone.
I'm giving it a 3.5 because I feel some of the writing could have been tighter, not because of the content. I enjoy dark romance, and this was similar viscerally to some books I've read in the past.
I would definitely read a full book about Sibby, and I am glad I read it the way I did because it gave me a lot of insight I wouldn't have had reading Haunting Adeline.
