Their Lasting Claim by Ella Goode

4.0

Great story.

Plot: A
There was a lot going on with this book. There were a few plot lines that needed to be resolved from previous stories. Annie's father, The reappearance of her mother, her pregnancy and what it means. I had a few questions about Michigan's past, but it wasn't too important. And I kind of wonder what they initially had planned for Annie's mother before the final resolution, because it didn't happen, and I don't recall it being spelled out.
Characters: B+
I loved Michigan and Easy's characters. How they weren't afraid to get sh-t done, but were so loving and protective of Annie. Annie somewhat annoyed me with her neediness for her mother. And I hated that she shut Michigan and Easy out, even if it was for a couple of minutes. But she eventually got her sh-t together, and did the right thing in all situations. I did wonder why Michigan and Easy kept Mrs. Bloom's behavior from her, but it wasn't a big deal, because it all turned out.
Heat: A-
The heat factor was blazing. Very descriptive and plentiful scenes that will melt your ereader. I mean come on, it's mfm, and done oh so right!
