I loved how the Voses don’t fit the mold of a ‘typical’ family. I especially loved reading about their journey to rekindle their relationships with one another (even though I thought they resolved things a little too quickly).
I wanted to read more about Merit’s healing process though and could have done without the relationship she had with Sagan. I think the story would have had a better impact if Merit went through her emotional journey with a friend or Honor rather than a love interest.
