This Won't End Well by Camille Pagán

3.0

Camille Pagan is one of the best at women-at-a-crossroads fiction! (And if that's not a genre of fiction, it should be)

In This Won't End Well, our heroine is Annie, a recently unemployed scientist with a fiance who has absconded to Paris to "find himself." What follows is Annie's hilarious and heartbreaking navigation through an emotional minefield, concluding with a very satisfying end. This is not my favorite of Pagan's novels (see, I'm Fine and Neither Are You), but it's still a fun and emotionally satisfying read. Pagan is a master at combining heartbreak with hilarity and I hope she keeps these uplifting novels coming!
