I was surprised by how much I liked this book. It reads like fiction instead of nonfiction. Also, I had never been interested in our civil war era before, but this book has piqued my interest!
The most memorable revelation in this book was what happened after Lincoln was shot. There are many "What if" theories out there, but this book did not deal in theories, only in fact.
And, I had no idea what was involved in the aprehension of John Wilkes Booth, or anything about him in fact.
I would definitely recommend this book to others!
