After sleeping and regaining my words from finishing this book, I can finally begin to comprehend what I read. I’m going to try best to give this review without spoiling anything. I absolutely loved Violet’s and Andarna’s growth throughout the book. I feel like Violet grown with the loss of her mother on her book while finding a cure for Xaden as well as finding Andarna’s kind. Rebecca’s world building with the different isles and how she made each one unique was astounding and breathtaking. All I’m saying…I need the next book now even though I’m beyond terrified for it.
