This book was deliciously spicy and I liked the way Viv made herself the heroine of her own story. It was an entertaining book to listen to and the reappearance of Simon, Caroline, Mimi, and Ryan was a nice callback.
“Why ride a cowboy when you can ride a librarian?” Clark and Vivian finally being together may have been at the very end of the book, but it was very worth the build-up. All of that ‘opposites attract’ tension made for a very happily ever after.
The way Viv romanticized her own life made me want to do that more in my own. 🩵
