This was a light fun rom com. While the romance was cute, it was the war bits that really made me laugh.  In short, Tessa's sister, Roxanne, and friends are determined to get her partnered up with a man, as per a contract they made when they were teenagers. Tessa of course doesn't want this, hence the war. Each side trying to out do the other to come out on top.  Of course, Tessa gets help in her sneakiness from Miles, the Bulge, her long time crush.  Britney Spears perfume, fish smells, stolen clothing and laxative muffins, are all part of the wars.  Meghan Quinn's books are always fun and smutty, but this wasn't as smutty as normal, and felt like a more typical beach read that could be picked up at any supermarket.  Smuttiness 2*, pretty basic and vanilla, the War and ridiculous situation parts 4*. So a 3* read.
