Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd by Cecil Castellucci, Holly Black
1.0
I did not like this book (I did give it 1 star, after all).
Every single story except for two had an element of romantic or sexual attraction, with some stories going into what I would call inappropriate territory especially considering that this was shelved in my library in the juvenile category.
Many of the stories felt like the type of content in "teen drama" shows (the same shows that have been heavily criticized for elements like teacher-student romance). Many of the stories didn't have cohesive themes or morals and towards the end it simply just got less and less "geeky."
TL;DR
Way more romantic/sexual than I was expecting since most/all of the characters are in high school or middle school. I also wouldn't have written a review on this book except my dislike is strong enough to compel me to do so.
