I'm a fan of the TV series, and thought I should read the graphic novel to see the differences and maybe even get more background knowledge. There are quite a bit of differences, but I enjoy both of them. This volume takes place at The Farm. Much of it plays out similar to the TV series, but there are quite a few differences. I'm actually not sure which I liked better. We get to know Otis more, but I really didn't like Hershel at this point. Glenn grows up and falls in love with Maggie.
