I'm no country boy, more of a metal guy, but this was a sweet story of two boys who had ties to country music and found each other as both worked in the country music park.  We have Emmett who wants to be the next big country music gay rock star and Luke who doesn't listen to country music, wants to be a chef, and is in the closet.  These two meet as one is on the way to a job interview and the other is on break.    The overall charm of this book is a sweet take on a contemporary summer romance in Tennessee where the country rings strong.  You'll love the characters who have their hopes and dreams juggling next to the side of what reality brings through.  It won't make me listen to country music but I did appreciate this gay country novel.
