3.8, The ending makes up for the beginning of the book. I feel like the author could’ve developed the characters better, they felt a little bit flat. I also feel like the author used big words to make the book sound more intelligent, but they didn’t really work or fit within the overall tone of the novel. I did enjoy the ending and how it all came together.
