this book is hard to rate. i think it is a very important read, especially for young people who are beginning to experience relationships. i wish i had this when i was 18 and going through similar things that the protagonist faced, it would have made me realise that relationships full of red flags are dangerous. theres not much i disliked, i quite liked the writing style. i felt so much anger towards the male character in this, everything he said or did made me want to punch something, he was such an awful character and it was really important to portray abuse and manipulation in ya because its extremely topical. i think reading this took me back to where i was when i was 18 which was weird and made me remember things that id blocked out.. that's why this is getting 3 stars. would definitely recommended it though.
