The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin

2/13/19: Perfection!

I received an ARC of this book from Net Galley. I'm currently half way through and it's everything I hoped it would be. I'll be writing a full review once I finish.

4/20/16 The end has been as spectacular as the beginning. When I first read The Passage, I was swept into a post-viral world of amazing characters. I have now finished this trilogy and said goodbye with reluctance and even tears.

The City of Mirrors is the epic final chapter to a world of darkness and light but mostly a world of love. I found myself so caught up in the lives of Amy, Peter, Alicia, Michael, Greer, Carter, and so many others. We get backstory, we get romance, we get action, but most importantly, we get closure.

This trilogy is so satisfying on so many levels. It is not just post-apocalyptic vampiric horror, but a sweeping story of generations of families rebuilding society.
