I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells

3.0

Real rating probably about 3.5

An interesting look into the mind of a young man with antisocial personality disorder set against the background of a small town being stalked by a serial killer.

John Wayne Cleaver is pretty deftly handled. He comes off neither as an incomprehensible monster, nor as a normal person who just talks about how different they are. (I'm looking at you, TV-show Dexter Morgan.)

The supernatural twist, though not unwelcome, wasn't necessary. This story would have stood just fine on its own.
