Fever
by Lauren DeStefano
So on the "Pros" list, Fever was an apropos name for this sequel to Wither. The entire book had a dreamy/hazy feel to it from sickness and drugs, and it was often not entirely clear what was happening. Ultimately, that was all right, because nothing significant really happened. Even though Rhine is out free and in society, we still don't get much more detail on the hows and whys of what made this society the way it is and how it functions at the point we see it. I am not sure whether to hope that the third book will take care of the missing pieces or not....
