This book was my introduction to Ann Liang's work. I read two more books by her right away. It's the least I can say to express how much I like her work.

Lara Jean's letters has a nostalgic value for me. So, Sadie's hate email stirred many emotions.

The opening scene of Sadie-Julius at the school gate screamed Academic Rivals to Lovers at the loudest volume. "It’s hard to believe that someone with such an awful personality could have such pleasing looks—or that someone with such pleasing looks could have such an awful personality." And I was already looking forward to their wedding (don't  blame me)

When Sadie said "I really can’t stand it when people are angry at me. Like, I know it might be simple for others, but I can’t focus on anything else. I can’t just forget about it and go on with my own life. It’s like there’s something hard wedged inside my chest. I’ll always feel guilty. I’ll always want to make amends.” I felt seen.

Julius is yearning king and might be my favourite Ann Liang's man. Everything he does makes me giggle.

I screamed at the novella announcement. If you ask me, I would vote for another book about them. Give me more of Sadie-Julius and I will eat it up.
