booyah

Now that's what I'm talking about.

better

This book gave me much more of what I expected from the series. It was raw, deep, a bit scary, emotional, tragic, etc. The connection that was lacking in book 1 was found here in book 2.

coolstory

Stella showed strength in the face of her oppressors (the Sovereign) and I was impressed by her moxie when she had to endure the Christmas trial. All the while she tried to deny how far she had fallen for Sinclair. As for Sin, I liked him even more. He definitely came through and redeemed himself, not only in Stella's eyes, but mine as well. And once again, these two were hella hot together.

I can't even imagine what's going to happen in book 3. Stella wants to tear the sovereignty apart, but she's going to need help. Can she count on Sinclair and Lucius? So exciting!!
