The most hecked up book I’ve read since Rant! When Chuck talked about this not getting published as his first book because it was too twisted and grotesque he wasn’t kidding, but oml I was along for the wild ride. There are plot twists upon twists and it was able to keep me guessing and it creates this really good atmosphere of literary whiplash. You don’t know who or what you can trust, what’s a lie and what’s true. The way the fragile social construct of beauty was dissected like a hospital patient really solidified chucks common nihilistic themes of absurdity and I just gawsh, loved it <3
