Okay books and movies that get to the last page or minute and then kills off one of the love interests is a big pet peeve of mine. I read for enjoyment, and I don't enjoy that. It makes me mad. It seems like this is the first in a series so I'm sure that maybe he's not completely dead, but if he's not he's going in the Crypts which is almost worse.
