I know I say this about every book I love but how will I move on from this. 😭 Reading about Maggie’s experience being forced out of the classroom when there are so many teachers leaving the classroom struck a cord in me. This is someone’s reality. I think being in your 30s/40s and starting over can come with so much fear and anxiety. Learning to see yourself again and put your wants, needs, and passions first is a journey and I think Emma captured the essence of that so perfectly.
