Big Little Lies
by Liane Moriarty
I really enjoyed this and i didn't think it was going to be a five-star read before starting it - i didn't really have any expectations. I loved the characters and the school politics/drama, i was very fond of the comedic storytelling mixed with the thrilling aspects. I thought the humour really made the characters stand out and i became very fond of them. It also made the school politics very funny to read and i enjoyed the little comments we got from different parents throughout the book.
Some parts were hard to read due to physical/domestic abuse, but overall it was a very fast-paced read and i was extremely invested in the story and the lives of the characters. I guessed the murder victim towards the middle of the book but i did second guess myself a lot and was very on edge! I also guessed the plot twist but it didn't hinder my enjoyment. I didn't guess the murderer though and thought that was very good, and thought it was good how it all played out.
Overall it was such a fun and fast read and i enjoyed it very much, and was very fond of the characters and the humerous tones.
