The entire Kingston Cycle is gorgeous, with this finale especially so.  By finally switching to a Black protagonist at street level, there are so many more facets in Soulstar.  Like the previous books, I chose to read this at a slow pace, letting the story wash over me.

This is such a wonderful place to leave Aeland and the journey through 3 books with 3 separate and different queer romances was spectacular.  This trilogy is only about 300 pages per book and so much is concisely and effectively conveyed.  Easily one of my favorite series and now my heart aches, in a good way, for this world and its character.  I could not recommend this series high enough. Read them now.
