This is such a wholesome graphic novel with art that I could look at all day. I love all the vibes this has: queerness, flowers, ghosts, necromancy. But a story cannot survive on just vibes, and I found the plot to be underdeveloped and disjointed. The conflict is confusing at times, it's not properly set up, and then it's resolved so quickly.

Because of how short the story is, I also didn't feel like I had enough time to sit with the characters and get to know them. I loved their designs though, especially the Reaper, who had just the right amount of creepy while still fitting into the beautiful art style.

Overall, this story has the art and the heart, but those who are looking for an engaging and well-written plot will be disappointed with this one.
