Wow! All I can say is WOW!!! This novel is a gem that hit me in all the feels. I grabbed the Christmas Beacon Box knowing the book was a local to me author. I didn’t realize I was grabbing my favorite read of 2019. It has been a long time where I sat and completed a book in 1 day. Henderbell was that read.
Henderbell: The Shadow of Saint Nicholas by JD Netto is a magical twist on the story of Saint Nicholas. It had me captivated from the first sentence to the last. The last sentence actually had me screaming and cursing because I NEED book two. The world building and character development made me feel like I was watching the action happen around me. Like I was following Enzo and Ava’s story like a shadow a part of their world.
