Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell

4.0

This was pretty slow, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. My favourite (and in my opinion the most insightful) part of the story was when Winston was reading Goldstein’s book. It touched on various topics including society, war, and politics that are still very much relevant and useful today. The best thing about reading this book is the amount of parallels with our present society you start to see afterwards. Would definitely recommend.
