A True Story by Francis Hickes, Charles Whibley, Lucian of Samosata

3.0

Although a summary of the book as traveling off and meeting up with moon people, fighting the sun people, in an interplanetary war with other alien creatures would make it sound very sci-fi, the reading of it puts it very much in a fantasy vein, feeling much like a Gulliver's Travels sailing off into far off lands with strange peoples.
Not bad, interesting at times, but not super compelling. Some of the battle scenes were dense and itemised, whereas other times there were some pretty neat scenes of giant beasts and strange lands.
