"And daily he orbits the Earth in his ship with eyes so sharp and his light penetrates mist and darkness."

I received this wonderful graphic novel for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you again, It was a really awesome read in combination with amazing art. The illustrations are beautiful.

It's about three university students who stumble upon a murder and some Sumerian artefacts. They try to find out who murdered their acquaintance and who took his family heirlooms. They discover that some myths seem to be more real than they thought. I liked all three main characters a lot as they are very relatable. The story starts a bit slow but picks up the pace quickly so that I read it in one sitting.

I really liked the Sumerian myths described in the novel. I knew a little bit due to my studies and my job but it was nice to read about it again. Another topic that is discussed, albeit briefly, is the prejudices refugees from the Middle East have to face on a daily basis and the kindness and help their receive from open minded people.

I enjoyed this graphic novel and I'm curious to know how the story continues as this one ends with a cliffhanger.
