Now I like reverse harem books.. and sometimes I might even love them. However, sometimes... I just find one every now and then.. that doesn't click with me. This was it and I really wanted to like it!
In Different, you will meet Penelope. It was a bit different since she already knew that she was going to have 4 mates.. instead of the usual reverse harems. I will admit, I was intrigued by this. So while waiting for things to play out.. I was just kind of getting bored. I was hoping that the overall pace (whether it was story or romance related) would be a lot faster than your typical RH book. However, it felt the complete opposite for me which kind of made me disappointed.
Besides Penelope, who was cute but a bit naïve towards things, the guys were cute and adorable. I don't necessarily have a favorite right now but maybe I will when I dive into the next book. Here's to hoping that the pace will be a bit better.
