Other than the insufferable main character and the constant sexism, the main complaint was that this book was full of amazing ideas for a dying world and we got to spent so little time with all the cool things. instead we were stuck in this guys head in a prison. It felt like we got nowhere this entire book. Nothing amounted to anything because once one cool thing was touched on, we moved onto the next never to see it again
