Book series as a whole: Absolutely loved it! I'm not the type of person who re-reads books, but I will definitely re-read this series... probably soon. I was initially worried it would be too predictable or too similar to other YA books/movies but I was pleasantly surprised that it was it's own thing.

This book: I was apprehensive while reading this book because I could sense that it was building to something, but I didn't know what. If you're similar to me, hang in there. You'll love it soon enough.
