This was a fantastic debut - I was hooked from the start! While the main character is Kendall, I really liked how the chapters would alternate between her, her own investigation of a missing child and her reaction to Gwen's murder, and Adam, the detective leading the investigation into Gwen's murder. I thought it was skillfully written & there never seemed to be any moments that dragged. I hope we see more of Kendall & Adam - they make a great investigative team!
