I struggled to keep on reading this book but I wanted to know how it ended.The way the feelings developed so quickly between Sloan and Carter was a little difficult to believe for me. The quick wit of Sloan amazed me with how easily she was out of trouble with her replies and many of those times I couldn't believe Asa fell for it.
The thing I did like was the way the book showed how flawed our legal system is and how people endure so much abuse because they don't have nowhere else to go.
