I seen the film years ago and have finally had the opportunity to read the book as part of a novel study I will be doing with my primary 7 class this year. So many different themes are explored throughout and there are just so many life lessons to be learned. I think this is something that everyone should read, it just really gets you thinking about what you say and how it might affect those around you. I’m looking forward to sharing this story with my class and to see what they learn from it.
