This was enjoyable, but could have benefited from more back story. I felt like I got dropped into the story with no info about the dynamics and history of the characters and the unveiling of some of the key pieces comes way too late in the story. At one point I thought maybe this was a sequel and had to go back and check because it read as though you should know so much more than you do. I enjoyed it overall as a fun, quick read for Christmas, just think it had even more potential.
