This is the best book that I have ever read/listened to in my life, and that is the honest truth. It speaks so truthfully to the female experience, even nowadays despite the setting being in the 50s-60s, with women being treated as less than men. I love the determination of the protagonist against persistent obstacles. She is equality personified, and I aspire to be as bold/unapologetic as her.

I had the fortunate experience of listening to this as an audiobook with an exclusive interview between Pandora Sykes and the author Bonnie Garmus at the end. I love how she explains her process for writing this book. I also now know that this has been adapted into a show, which I will be watching soon!

I highly recommend this to any woman, young or old, of any background, with any profession. I have already sent a copy of this to my out of town best friend. Cannot sing high enough praises for “Lessons in Chemistry.”
