Please Look After Mom by Kyung-sook Shin

this book was a real labour of love. my thoughts might change as it marinates on me, but i don’t really see that happening. i love second person, my favourite perspective hands down, but i really struggled with keeping focused and engaged with this. sure i think the musings are fundamentally important to reckon with as a daughter, a mother, a husband, etc.
still think it felt like a bunch of self absorbed siblings finally having to look outside of themselves and have very early-adulthood realisations in their thirties to fifties.
