Cute romcom with some Darcy/ Lizzy vibes.
Darcy is a by the book actuary and meets Elle (anyone know if it is Ellie or Elle?) on a blind date and they definitely do not hit it off but for the sake of the holiday season - they end up fake dating. There were great elements to this book but it depended heavily on being overheard and a third act break up and there was minimal character development (really just being more comfortable in who they are versus character growth.) That being said - I did enjoy their banter and nerdy references but I am not a natural romcom reader so it definitely is a case of not the book but me.
