What a trippy book. If you love super technical and science based books this is a great one. It was such an interesting concept for a sci-fi book.. Like the Catholic Church sent people to spaceā€¦. The characters had such unique back stories. And the different POVs were hard to follow at some points. Especially when we got the aliens POV.

I would have loved to know what the world was thinking about during this time. What the media was saying or what other countries were trying to do to compete.

It hit some really big questions about God and his role in life. All the characters had a different relationship and view point on God. But they all still respected one other and was able to work together as a team.

I did feel that the ending was rushed. The middle drug for quite some time.
