This is probably one of the best books I've ever read. I return to it once a year or so, along with many of Mccarthy's other books, this being his magnum opus. It's beautifully written, the content throughout is challenging in different ways, the brutality, the violence, the indifference of the universe. It is dense and it is not an easy read for many reasons, so read at your own risk.
