I discovered this book from the Let's Talk About Myths, Baby podcast (highly recommend) and it filled the Song of Achilles shaped hole in my heart. Haynes beautifully tells the stories of the women involved in the Trojan war who have been forgotten or mistreated by the retellings over the years. Each woman is so different and well fleshed out, and I particularly loved the use of Calliope to move between the stories.
