4.5 stars. I think this has the potential to become a really great series base on this first volume. I can’t wait to read more of these characters. I docked half a star cuz the writing is very very wordy at time. Like do I really need to know the exact dimensions of the room the main character walked into? I don’t think so. But this is a very minor issue because it doesn’t happen very often and when it does I can just skip over the paragraph or two of it.
